Thank you for visiting our website.  The County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes in Shreve, Ohio, was formed in 1996-97 to promote interest in past and present history of the communities of Big Prairie, Centerville, Lakeville, Millbrook, Moreland, Nashville, the Village of Shreve, and the townships of Clinton, Franklin, Lake, Plain, Ripley and Washington in Wayne, Holmes and Ashland counties; and also, to promote greater appreciation of our heritage and broaden the education and participation in the communities of this area. The Society hopes to preserve as much historical and genealogical material as possible and has both permanent exhibits and feature collections.

Our Museum, located at 281 North Market Street, Shreve, Ohio, is open the second Saturday of each month, 12:00 noon to 3:00 P.M.  Admission is: $2.00 for adults, children 12 and under are free. Admission is free for County Line members.   Free parking is available on Saturdays at Shreve Mobil, and downtown parking lots.  Handicapped parking is available at the rear of the museum, by entering off W. Robinson St. and onto the alley and left behind the Museum.
